Experience

After completing my practicum experience in various schools in Tacoma and my student teaching at Winlock Elementary School, I began substituing in various schools in Eastern Washington. After coming home for Thanksgiving in 2004, I applied for and was hired on at Pe Ell as a long-term sub in the high school English classroom. I have remained as the high school English teacher at Pe Ell since then which would make this year my 10th year as a Trojan teacher!

Bio

Growing up, I was a small town girl raised with my two older siblings in Pe Ell by my mother. I attended all of my years in elementary, middle school, and high school at Pe Ell. Sports took up most of my time as I was a dedicated athlete. Though I played 3 sports, basketball was my passion...my life during high school. I loved it so much, I continued on to play at Centralia Community College and Pacific Lutheran University, making many lasting friendships and memories. My love for the game still remains and I have coached almost every year of teaching. This year, I'll be returning to the coaching staff as assistant for the high school girls' team.

Once I returned to the area and began teaching at Pe Ell, I met my now husband of eight years, Jared Lennox. In 2010, we were blessed with our first, and only child (for now) Liam Clifford Lennox who was named after my grandpa Cliff Cox, one of the greatest men I know. We currently live in Chehalis, Wa.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, staying fit and sane through exercising, working outside in the yard or on some sort of home-improvement project, and of course eating!!!
